The Tau Delta Chapter at Birmingham-Southern College was installed in 1925. Living by our chapter motto, "Women Enriched through Lifelong Friendship," the chapter strives for excellence while maintaining a sisterhood filled with love. Tau Delta has grown into an unbelievable and diversified chapter over the past 93 years, by making impacts not only in the BSC community, but the surrounding Birmingham neighborhood.
Today, you'll find our sisters working in leadership positions around campus, taking internships locally or across the nation, while also giving back to the community, whether that be pairing up with the Birmingham Arthritis Foundation, or spending time at Piper's Place or First Light. Some sisters you'll find studying in the BSC library, others in AOII house, or even abroad in places like London, England or Spain. You will always find our sisters grabbing lunch together in the caf, attending other Greek organizations philanthropic events on campus, or cheering on sisters at their sports games. The sisters of Alpha Omicron Pi support each other in academics and extracurricular activities. They always look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of individual sisters, as well as the chapter.
